A European businessman has sent shock waves around the world after purchasing a photograph of a photo ("Potato #345")for a whooping €1 million - about N217 million.

"Potato #345"  was taken by acclaimed Irish photographer Kevin Abosch in 2010 and is one of three versions of the print in existence, hence the hefty price tag.

Abosch says it's the most expensive photo he's ever sold, and most of his work typically goes for around $280,000 (about N55 million).

So the question remains, if you could afford it would you spend over $1 million on a photograph of a photo?
